My Favorite Uncle

This cute little girl had a kindergarden assignment where she was supposed to draw a picture of her favorite uncle.

We then got this in the mail.
I had to share this because I thought it was so funny. If you can't read it, it says, " My favorite uncle is Brad because.... he likes Barbie and he likes me."

I LOVE IT!

Beard

Brad has had a pretty sweet beard going on since his accident because he has not had to shave it for work. He started going back to work last week so Monday it was time to say goodbye to the beard. It was somewhat of a relief because he was starting to look like someone we have all being seeing a lot of lately.

Can you see the resemblance?

These next pictures are the phases of the shaving process which took a really long time because it was so thick.

This is the "Hulk Hogan"

This is the "Reno 911"

And we all know who this is......

And Vuala! Here he is baby faced once again.

6 Weeks

Yesterday was Brads 6 week check up with his neurologist, Doctor Allen. He got X-rays taken of his back and they could see fusion starting to happen. He also was able to get the leg part of his brace off so its a lot easier to deal with. Dr. Allen told him he could start doing more things like start going back to work and walk around the neighborhood but he still wants him to be really careful because Brads back injury was in the top 10 percentile of the worst cases he has ever seen. Also, yesterday they weighed him and he was 171 lbs. Before all of this he was 198 so he has lost A LOT of weight. All in all he has been doing great lately, he is a lot more mobile and he isn't having a lot of pain anymore.

In other great news.....

I took my very last final of my college career today. I AM DONE!
