Lets Go Fly a Kite

Easter weekend Brad and I found a new joy in life, flying our dollar kites. As you can see from the picture Brad wasn't very good at first, he spent the whole first half with his kite tangled on the ground. Who would of known though that so much joy and entertainment could cost only a dollar!

Its also that time of year where Brad starts to fly his other "Kite".  I hate the thing, it scares me to death, but he for some reason loves it.

This past weekend we packed our bags and headed to Provo for a fun filled weekend. on Friday night we went camping with our friends Mike and Christie at the Little Sahara Sand Dunes. It was so cold that night and the ground was so stinking hard, but it was still really fun. That next morning the boys got up early and rode their dirt bikes while Christie and I tired to pack up as fast as we could so we could be done camping as soon as they got done. Then when we got back to civilization, we went and ate at P.F. Changs, and then had a fun filled night of putt-putt golf and sequence. All in all it was a great weekend. Mike and Christie are such a fun couple to hang out with!

Welcome Sophie Olsen!

Yesterday my big brother Chris and his wife Kara had their 4th child. She is a super cute little girl with a full head of black hair. She knew from the first moment I held her that I was to be the favorite aunt of all!

Working Woman

A lot happened last week!

Early last week I received a phone call from the place I was all set up to do my internship with this summer. I was supposed to start the end of May but they lost one of their girls so they wanted to know when I could start because they needed me as soon as possibly. I didn't know at the time but that meant the next day I would start training. So now for the past week and a half I have been going up to Idaho Falls everyday for a few hours to get trained and as of Monday I am a real paid employee while getting my internship, so its a sweet deal!

Also Annie and Jeff had the oppurtunity to come home to Blackfoot for a whole week because Jeff was on spring break and spend time with us. It was so good to see them and Jake because we hadn't seen them since our wedding, and it was fun to see Annie's growing belly.

Brad for some reason loves doing this to little children....

And this past Saturday, Melanie got married! She looked beautiful and the weather was great. She had her reception at PBG's and it turned out wonderful. Her and Jeff make a great couple and I am super happy for them. Next it's Kelsi's turn!
